Eloise Bradshaw Worrell 83 died at her home December 13 " 2006.
Born June 22" 1923 in Suffolk she was the daughter of the late Milton Lee and Beulah Johnson Bradshaw. Mrs. Worrell was a member of Suffolk Christian Church " where she formerly enjoyed being in charge of the Beginners Class and formerly served as a Cub Scout Leader of Den 3 Pack 2 at Oxford United Methodist Church. She had retired from the City of Suffolk Purchasing Office.

Frances Gray Cary 85 beloved wife mother grandmother great grandmother and sister died peacefully in her home on November 28 2006. Born February 13 1921 in Nansemond County she was the daughter of the late Eleanor Winslow and Johnnie Lee Gray. She was predeceased by two children Linda Faye Cary and Michael Gray Cary sister Hulda Gray Holland and brother Harry Lee Gray. Survivors include John Neal Cary Sr. her husband of 60 years Charles W. Cary II Bill and wife Carol CoCo John Neal Cary Jr.

Clyde Gatewood Simmons

Clyde Gatewood Simmons native and lifelong Suffolk resident passed away early Tuesday morning November 28 2006 at Lake Prince woods Skilled Care Center. He is survived by his three daughters Ida Simmons Mary Darden Hearring and Martha Simmons; his three grandchildren Miranda Darden Meredith Darden Kelly and Brad Rose; and his great-granddaughter Kinsley Rose.

During World War II he enlisted in the W. S. Army at age 17 and volunteered for the Army Air Corps. He flew 35 missions and was shot down three times in the south Pacific while a tail-gunner onB-24s.
