Walter H. Butler 'Jiggs'? born May 1916 in Zuni VA 92 returned to his post as one of God's angels on June 20 " 2008. Jiggs was the son of the late Theodosia Bowden Butler and Lloyd Hudson Butler. He was one of five siblings.

Jiggs joined the United States Army in 1935" and completed basic training at Ft. Monroe. He served at Ft. Lee in Hawaii other US duty stations and in Europe most notably through the entire duration of World War II. He was a dedicated soldier attaining the then highest non-commissioned officer rank of Master Sergeant.

Ellen Hawkins Grizzard 92 died June 18 2008 " in Autumn Care of Suffolk.

Born in Roanoke" VA she was the daughter of the late Philip Aubrey and Effie Lee W. Hawkins and widow of Charles Albert 'Buck'? Grizzard. She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters. Mrs. Grizzard was a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church and former member of Mt Sinai Chapter #18 Order of the Eastern Star. As a gifted craftsman " she was a member of the Artesian Club for dolls and the Duncan Certified Teachers Association.
