Shirley Lee “Mac” McGary passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 26, 2019. Born February 11, 1933 in Kentucky, he was a son of the late Lafayette Shirley McGary and Ella Margaret Atherton McGary. Mac proudly served his country in the United States Navy, retiring as Boatswain’s Mate Chief Petty Officer, having served in Korea and Vietnam. After retirement from the Navy, Mac worked at the Portsmouth Naval Hospital and Norfolk General Hospital as the Lab Administrator.

James Michael Blair, 74, went to be with the Lord on May 28, 2019. He was the son of the late Thomas and Ossie Blair. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters Juanita Blair Stine, Thomas Blair, Mary Blair, Cornelius Blair, and George Blair.

James graduated from Suffolk High School and then joined the Army. After the military he graduated from Old Dominion University. James joined the family business Blair Brothers and served as treasurer and accountant until his retirement.

Pamela Ridge Widener Sklak, 70,  went to be with Lord on May 28, 2019 after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis. She was predeceased by her parents Betty M. Widener and Arthur John Ridge. She enjoyed spending summers as a youth with her grandparents. 

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey Rickard of Suffolk; daughter Nicole L. Panuska and husband Matthew; son Brian P Sklak  all of New York; grandchildren Cameron, Nathan and Olivia Panuska.

Carol G. Watson, 82, went to be with the Lord on May 19, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Gladys J. and Ernest T. Bergquist. She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence M. Watson and a son Robert (Bobby) Watson.

She is survived by her daughters, Margaret (Peggy) Davis, and Linda Glenum and husband Don; sons Michael L. Watson and wife Donna and Kurt Watson and wife Debra; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and her brother Alan Bergquist and wife Sandra.
