Mary Ann Coggsdale, 81, passed away Friday, June 21, 2019. She is predeceased by her parents, Russell and Verdie Marr, sisters Margaret Carlson and Bernice Atkins.

Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Bobby Merritt Coggsdale, daughters Lee Ann Murray (William) of Virginia Beach, VA, and Marcy Pruitt of Scottsdale, AZ, son Russell Shepard (Julia) of New York, NY, six grandchildren Megan, Kelly, Kirsten, Kyle, Russell, and Morgan and six great grandchildren.

Carol Grubbs Andrews passed away peacefully on June 17, 2019. Carol was born on March 19, 1937, the daughter of the late Clarence Benjamin and Dorothy White Grubbs. Everyone who knew Carol knew how much she loved Richard, her husband of 63 years, her family, her Church, and her community. She travelled extensively (often to see family members) and had a lifelong passion for music.

Joyce Hathaway Jordan, 85, died June 15, 2019. She was the daughter of the late Ruth G and Howard Hathaway, Jr. She was predeceased by her husband Irving “Chuck” E. Jordan.

Joyce was a member of Suffolk Presbyterian Church and retired from Norfolk Naval Shipyard where she worked in Human Services. After retirement her and Chuck lived for several years down in lower Currituck, Co. NC at Powell’s Point. Joyce loved to quilt and was a master gardener.

Bill Farley Eason, 86, went to be with the Lord on June 15, 2019. He was the son of the late Ruby P and Raymond F. Eason.

Bill was a 1952 graduate of Suffolk High School where he played football, baseball, and ran track. He enlisted in the Air Force in 1952, served four years in the Korean Conflict and was discharged in 1956 as a Staff Sergeant. Bill retired from Birdsong Peanut Co. after 26 years and worked for R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home for 15 years. Bill has been a member of First Baptist Church since 1945.
