Thomas Henry Gray, Jr. “Tommy” of Sedley passed away on March 13, 2019. Born December 21, 1942 in Isle of Wight County he was a son of the late Thomas Henry Gray, Sr. and Elizabeth Jones Gray. Tommy was an active member of the Ivor Volunteer Fire Department and the Virginia Auctioneer Association. He was the owner and operator of Ivor Auction Store for 23 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be missed by all who knew him.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 ½ years, Daisy May Bartlett Gray; his children, Thomas Henry Gray, III (Teresa), Larry Wayne Gray, and Susan Marie Morgan (Lance); grandchildren, Jamie Gray (Bruno), Lance Morgan, Jr. (Lauren), and Angel Gray Whisenant (Josh); great-grandchildren, Braxton Hargrave, Haley Morgan, and Conley Whisenant; brother, Earl Gray; sister, Ann Dickerson; special niece, Donna Rippeth; best friend, Joe Gray and brother-in-law, Arnold Bartlett.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at R. W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ivor Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 213 Ivor, VA 23866.
