Rose Mary Gilbo Davis of Suffolk, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 6, 2020 in Norfolk, VA. Born June 27, 1946 in Watertown, NY to late William Leon Gilbo and Mary Magdalene Dutton Gilbo. She was preceded in death by her sisters Ruth Eva Gilbo and Frances Juanita Gilbo Ricard.

Survived by a son Glen B Bragg III, and daughter Dawn Marie Bragg Knapper (husband John); eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren

When her children were young, she worked for Safeway Stores, Inc. and volunteered at the school, church and with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, later volunteer work includes counseling and foster parenting, Neighborhood Watch, Arthritis foundation. As a member of Church of God of Prophecy for the past several years, Rose Mary taught Sunday school, participated in the choir, helped with community dinners and anything else that needed to be done.

She was a graduate of Norfolk Naval Apprenticeship program as an electrician and worked several years with Norfolk Naval and for Northrop Grumman in Newport News. Also, she received an AAS degree from TCC in Information Systems Technologies which led to technical support positions with Canon, Inc., Gateway Company and VSE Corporation.

Rose Mary was a lover of God and life who enjoyed spending time outdoors, at museums, and doing anything that involved family! Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life; and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020, 1:00 pm in the Church of God of Prophecy, 1214 Holland Road, Suffolk VA 23434. Reception following provided by the church community. R.W.
