I worked with Phyllis the last 5 or so years when I came to speak at Roper Home on Sunday afternoons. We also saw each other out and about at Elizabeth River District events. She always made me feel welcome and appreciated when I came and spoke to the ladies. She will missed very much. Love and prayers to you all.

Deneen, our prayers are with you and your family. We hope that your present sorrow will soon be replaced with happy memories. Phyllis was a very special lady, not only as part of Wesley Grace UMC, but at the Lydia Roper Home. She took great care of my friend, Margie Hall, when she was a resident there, as well as all the ladies who have resided there.
