I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you Elizabeth and your family. O.J. and I started at VDOT surveying at the same timeG.W. Showalters was oue Party Chief. I left survey after five years and finished my time with the Right of Way Section but I stayed in close contact with OJ sometimes on a weekly basis. If you recall I was the Right Of Way Agent that acquired the additional R/W from you all at the store site. My thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of sorrow.

At Christmas time we all gathered at the Baker Sr.'s home and sang Carols. It was a very warm feeling of fellowship and Love. These and hundreds more are the memories we have of the entire Baker family with "O.J." at the top of the list. He was our friend. We all grew up married had children and phsycally moved away but warmth of the reunions closed the years separated but never forgotten. God has a wonderful warm Angel now. So long ol'friend. Our JOY is that we will join you when God calls us too.
