Larry Joe Curl, 62, of Dendron Virginia passed away at his home on April 2, 2021.  Larry was born on March 31, 1959 to the late Ralph and Lois Curl. He was predeceased by his wife Sylvia Curl.

Larry enjoyed life and especially the outdoors. He thoroughly enjoyed spending days fishing and gardening with his best buddy, Robert Stewart. He had a good heart and was always willing to help his neighbors. He was a long-term employee of VDOT where he worked with the road crew, and then later spent many years on the ferry.

He is survived by his sister, Connie Stewart (Bucky); brothers, Gene Curl (June), Eddie Curl (Becca); daughter, Abby; stepchildren, Tracy Addison and Bryan Stewart; many grandchildren and a great granddaughter.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 at 2 PM at Union Christian Church, 2808 New Design Road, Dendron, VA 23839 with Rev. Larry Dunn officiating. The family will receive friends in the R.W. Baker & Co. Wakefield Chapel on Monday, April 5, 2021 from 6 to 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to: Union Christian Church c/o Shelton Stewart, 2331 New Design Road, Dendron, VA 23839. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
