You will be missed. I've always thought of you as the sister I never had. You and my brother had a love people dream of having. I've loved you for 62 years. We had lots of memories over the years, which is something I will treasure. Our hearts are breaking but we know you are out of pain and with all your loved ones in heaven.

Charles and girls, my sisters Joyce & Peggy & I are so very sorry for your loss. The Nowell family was a big clan and we always looked to Joan’s daddy, Uncle Wilbur, as the head of the family. We didn’t get to see each other very often but we all shared that deep Nowell sense of family. We loved Joan and know she is at last free of pain and in The Lord’s care now. Sincere sympathy and love from her cousins.
