John and Jeannie, please accept out sympathy for your loss. Miss Polly has been such positive influence on many people in Surry, and while she has gone ahead, so much of her is left with us. She gave me good advice on so many things and I treasure that. Our children are better because of the time she gave them. Hers was a life well lived.

What a beautiful photo tribute to Polly and the whole family. As a new comer to Surry I did not have much time with her, however, I learned quickly what a wonderful person she was. She was instrumental in influencing my decision to serve on the advisory board of Surry Social Services. She was an “encourager” in the true Christian tradition. She made major contributions to the whole community through her service to Our Lord. Rest In Peace, dear lady.

I just saw this today, Tuesday the 20th. My heart goes out to all of you. Polly was an amazing friend. She and Marshall were so special to me and Eddie. The video is just lovely. Polly was so energetic and now with her true southern gentleman. God bless you in the days and years to come. Always, Rose and Eddie
