SORRY TO HEAR OF THE LOSS OF MRS. HOBBS. SHE TAUGHT ME ALL MY BUSINESS CLASSES AT WHALEYVILLE HIGH SCHOOL IN 1955. SHE WAS A GREAT TEACHER. WE ALSO ENJOYED HAVING HER ATTEND THE SENIOR CITIZENS CLUB AT LIBERTY SPRING CHRISTIAN CHURCH AS LONG AS SHE COULD. JEAN R PERRY

Expressions of sympathy are extended to Mrs. Hobbs family. She was my favorite teacher at WHS - loved the business classes that she taught. When I was a senior, she and Mr. Hobbs and daughter, Susan, at an early age, took me to Maryland to participate in a typing contest - one of the fond memories I have! When the Class of '63 had their 50th class reunion, I went to Great Fork Baptist Church that weekend and had the opportunity to chat with her. RIP my dear friend.

We were saddened to learn of Estelle's passing. She and Wallace were good friends
and neighbors during the 20 years that we lived in Whaleyville. She touched the lives
of many during her years of service as a Teacher and Guidance Counselor and was
devoted to her Church and Community. Our lives are richer because of our friend "T"
Hobbs. May bless her family as they mourn her loss and celebrate her life.

I knew her from where my Mom and Dad attended Church together. Then had the pleasure of helping her at my former job, where. I sang in her , talked with her. I was unable to come back and visit. I gave her my picture and I prayed for her. She was a sweet person and smiling face. You are rejoicing in heaven! So sorry Susan and family for your loss. Her friend, Nurse Brenda

I am deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Mrs. Hobbs. While grief at the loss of a loved one is painful, our heavenly Father promises that those who have fallen asleep in death will be raised to life. (Acts 24:15) Until that time, the cherished memories you have of your loved one may they help bring you inner peace and live forever in your heart.

Sincere condolences to the family of Mrs. Hobbs. Over the years, she continuously insisted that we call her "T", but as a very favorite and respected teacher of ours, we just couldn't do it. She touched and molded many young lives and will be remembered for her sincere personal interest in each and every one of them. She was a true educator and friend. I have read this post over and over because I know she will be "proofreading" my typing!! With heartfelt sympathy, Jane and Wayne

Susan, Coleman and I were at the service this morning. Sorry I didn't get to speak to you, but am having trouble walking. Your words were so touching and exactly as I knew her. I was in class of '65 at whaleyville and she encouraged me to pursue bookkeeping and I worked for a wonderful CPA for 31 years. Our condolences for your loss. Just wanted you to know how much she influenced and encouraged me. Mary Edna Jakeman Boyce
