I was truly saddened to read of Doris's passing. I fondly remember the many times, my family spent with Doris, especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. She was more than a friend to the Fannys. She was family. I so loved her sense of humor and her frank and honest assessments of situations. She called it as she saw it, and I loved that in her. May the good memories we have of her sustain us in the difficult days and weeks ahead. My heartfelt sympathies are extended to her family and friends. Rest in peace, my dear friend!
