Carol Bailey of Waverly, VA passed away peacefully on Friday, May 4, 2018. She was a member of Waverly United Methodist Church and the Sussex Historical Society. Mrs. Bailey retired from teaching after 37 years of service. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Edward Bailey.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 60 years, Robert Louis Bailey; daughter, Ann Vogt and husband, Gregory; grandchildren, Erika, John, Matthew, and Hunter and numerous loving nieces and nephews and many devoted friends.

A memorial service will be held Monday, May 7, 2018 at Waverly United Methodist Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Steven  Snodgrass officiating. R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel is serving the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Waverly UMC, P.O.
