Dear Anna & Family I was saddened this morning upon seeing Fred's obituary in the newspaper. I worked with Fred when we were employed by the City of Portsmouth. Fred & myself along with Norman Lacerte alternated working the water plant in Suffolk & the wastewater plant at the marine terminals in Portsmouth. Three men maintaining 2 distantly laboratory locations 7 days/wk. We all cooperated and got along well and I enjoyed working with Fred. I do remember one occasion when he invited me to his home meeting some of you his family then off to Churchland Park for some tennis after of course viewing his garden of which he was very proud. These memories of Fred were a long time ago but I want to know my thoughts are with you Anna & your family as you grieve your loss. Yours sincerely CLIFF BARR
