She is survived by her husband and her son, Richard and many family members who will love and miss her.

Dexter R. Jackson was born October 10, 1964 in Columbus Georgia to Felton Drake and Mattie Jackson who both predeceased Dexter earlier in life. Dexter grew up in Detroit Michigan where he attended Mackenzie High school graduating with the class 1982. After high school Dexter went on to attend Grambling State University where he felt it was not the place for him, October 1983, Dexter left school to join the United States Navy. That was his calling, Soldier

William “Bill” Marshall Frierson, Jr., 83, of Wakefield passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020, at Northampton Convalescent & Rehabilitation Center, Hampton, VA. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Kathy Duffy Frierson. Born November 3, 1936, in Kingstree, SC, he was the son of the late William Marshall Frierson, Sr., and Cathryn Lane Frierson. Bill was an active member of the Wakefield United Methodist Church and the Prince George Senior Men’s Golf Association.

Patricia Ann Zartman “Pat”, of Surry, VA passed away on May 21, 2020. Born February 14, 1942 in Hampton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Larry P. Milloy and Edith Hogge Milloy Rinebold. Pat graduated from Hampton High School in 1960. She worked for Northrop Grumman for over 35 years as a Pipe Department Inspector, retiring in 2007. In her retirement years she delivered Meal on Wheels to local seniors in Surry County for the Surry County Department of Social Services. For a decade she enjoyed bringing seniors a meal and a smile.
