Merriam-Webster defines bereavement as: the state or fact of being bereaved or deprived of something or someone: the state or fact of being bereaved; especially: the loss of a loved one by death. Grieving is much more than a definition of cold words can describe. We each deal with our own personal range of emotions when dealing with the loss of a loved one. There are many ways to handle the different stages of grief in both yourself, and helping others who are living with grief. Whether you are helping children grieve, or if you are accepting the loss of a spouse or loved one yourself, there are many outlets that are designed to help.
