Sadler Alvah E. Sadler Alison E. Sadler and sister Antha Sadler Cobb. Mrs. Mountcastle was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church the Suffolk Art League and Women in Construction. She was formerly a bookkeeper with Reid & Hope.

Born May 30 1931 in Mount Airy NC he was the son of the late Robert Roosevelt and Gracie Johnson Heath. Mr. Heath was a member of the Suffolk Moose Lodge and a retired foundry employee.

George was a veteran of the United States Navy but his life's work was as a printer. He along with his wife Joan was the owner of the Gurley Press LLC. He was a member of the Eastover- Wilroy Ruritan Club former District Governor of the Ruritan Life member of the Nansemond Suffolk Volunteer Rescue Squad and member of Providence United Methodist Church.

Daniel Preston Harrell 80 died February 25 " 2006.

Born December 14" 1926 in Nansemond County VA he was the son of the late Roscoe and Manie Horton Harrell.

Mr. Harrell retired from Planters as a machine operator and was a farmer for many years. He was a member of Liberty Spring Christian Church where he had served as chairman of the Board of Deacons and on the Board of Trustees.

Survivors include his wife Helen Claud Harrell and several cousins.

Susan was the daughter of the late Charles Harrison Marks, Jr. and Dorothy Baker Marks.Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Carolyn Marks Shields; her brother, Charles Harrison Marks III and numerous other family members. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Claremont Baptist Church in Claremont, VA with Pastor Leon Basham officiating. Burial will follow in Claremont Cemetery.

Goldie Evanelle Stewart, 86, loving wife and mother and woman of strong faith died peacefully on March 27, 2017. She was born in Lowry City, Missouri to the late Clarence and Ada Campbell. A graduate of Central Missouri State College, Warrensburg, Goldie taught grammar school in Missouri and Colorado before marrying and raising a family. She enjoyed music, travel, playing tennis and was an accomplished artist.
