Cathy,

I was shocked when I heard the news. I have no words to say, only that Tricia and I are so sorry for Bert's passing. Our heart and prayers are pointed towards you and your family. Rest assure he is in the arms of a loving GOD now. When I was called with the news I just looked out towards the field behind our houses and remembered us both cutting grass and having a passing wave to each other. Will see you Thursday night.

Cathy and Bill Atkins

Cathy, Bobby and I continue to keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers. It's times like these when we have so many questions and not so many answer, but we know through the toughest days we face that our God is a gracious God, a big God, one who knows our hearts and who has suffered much more than we can imagine. Continue to lean on Him for strength, comfort and peace as only He can give. Bert was a classmate of mine for many years. A quiet guy with a kind spirit and heart. If you needed help with something, he would have been there for you. Even though our paths didn't cross very often over these years, I know those things didn't change about him by the friends I talk to and the things I read. Hold tight to the memories of the many years you shared, knowing that your family and friends will be carrying you through with love and prayers.

Bobby and Faye (Blevins) Beale

Mrs. Walton and family, please know that the Smith family will continue to pray your strength in the Lord during your time of bereavement. In His Hands!
