Thomas J. Garvey passed away on Monday, January 02, 2012 at the age of 75 in his home.
He was the son of the late Thomas J. and Catherine Garvey. He was an Air Force veteran of the Korean Conflict and a retired truck driver for Diamond Chemical Company. He was a member of the American Legion Post 49.
He is survived by his loving wife, Frances M. Garvey; and sister Mary Zajac of Brooklyn, New York; daughter Suzanne Barbara and granddaughter Brittany Gesslein; Son James P. Barbara Jr.
The memorial service has been postponed indefinitely. Memorial donations may be made to the Western Branch Community Church, Hope Unleashed Fund, 1935 Jolliff Road, Chesapeake, VA 23231.
